Renee Watts at Ardent Care is hands down the best dentist that I have ever met. She has taken care of my family's dental needs for almost 18 years now. She is caring, compassionate, honest, informative, professional and just a nice person. The gals up front that answer the phone are just the bee's knees. I'm so disappointed. I provided them with my insurance card before the day of treatment. I got a teeth cleaning and a few weeks later was shocked to get a bill for several hundred dollars...Be aware that they do not check for coverage or call insurance for pre-authorization. I feel like I got tricked. Had I known it wasn't covered, I wouldn't have gotten the treatment! What really makes me sad is that when I called to discuss this, they were unwilling to work with me. I don't expect to get anything for free, but come on there has to be some flexibility given the circumstances. They value getting a few hundred dollars rather than keeping loyal long-term patients. I'm disappointed and will find another dentist who is transparent about coverage and billing!

Dr Watts is a true gem — combining the best of a highly-trained dental professional with the kindness and compassion of a real friend. Rarely do you find a someone who cares about you as much as a person as he/she does about mastering his/her profession. Dr Watts exemplifies both and is the reason I have been a patient for 20 years. I wouldn’t see anyone else for my dental care — and couldn’t recommend her more highly.
